Coaching for people who want to feel good, keep moving well, and stop guessing. I help you sort through the noise and figure out what your body actually needs.
Remote, over Zoom, from Vermont. Taking a small number of founding clients now.
Active people who want to feel good in their bodies and keep doing the things they love. That is the whole requirement.
A few of my clients are competitive athletes. Most are not. What they have in common is that they are capable, carrying a lot, getting conflicting advice from every direction, and slowly losing the thread on themselves.
If none of those is quite you and you still want to move well and feel like yourself, you are in the right place.
There is more health information than ever and less clarity than ever.
Conflicting advice from every direction. A care team that does not talk to each other. Aches that come and go. A nervous system that has been running hot for years. Most of what gets sold to you treats one part, and none of it was built for your body, your history, or your life.
My work is reading the whole system at once. Posture, breath, biomechanics, injury history, stress patterns, and fascia. Then simplifying it down to the one or two things that actually move everything else, and helping you navigate the rest so it stays manageable.
One hour to sort out what is actually going on. We look at the whole picture: how you are moving, how you are sleeping, what hurts, what you have already tried, who is on your care team, and what you are trying to do with your life. You leave with a clear read on what is driving the problem and a short list of what to do next. Good for a specific question, a second opinion, or a place to start.
Two sessions a month plus messaging in between. For people managing a lot at once who want someone in their corner who knows the whole picture. We work on movement, recovery, and the daily patterns that either hold you together or wear you down. When you have an appointment coming up, I help you prepare for it: what to ask your doctor, how to explain what you are feeling to your physical therapist, what to tell your pilates instructor about your back. You walk in knowing what you need.
For high school and college athletes with a real goal and a lot coming at them. Two sessions a month plus messaging. We work on training load, recovery, and injury history, and on the part nobody teaches them: how to advocate for themselves with trainers, coaches, and doctors, and how to keep the sport from swallowing everything else. Parents are welcome on the first call. After that the athlete drives it, because learning to run their own care is most of the point.
This is coaching, not medical care and not physical therapy. I do not manage your care or speak to your providers. I help you understand what is going on and walk into those rooms prepared.
Twenty four years in elite sport and performance health. I built the largest soft tissue program in Division I athletics at Dartmouth, directed athlete care at Killington Mountain School, and led player health and performance for a women's professional soccer organization. I have worked with the US Ski Team, the Bear National Team, and US Cycling.
Before any of that I raced whitewater slalom for the USA National Team. That is where I learned to read a line: look at the whole river, find the one move that makes the rest possible, and commit.
What I do now is the same thing. I read patterns, and then I help people find the small number of things that change everything else. Most of my clients are not elite athletes. They are people with jobs and kids and old injuries who want to move well and feel free in their own bodies again.

Email me and tell me what is going on. A few sentences is plenty. I will write back with what I think is worth looking at and whether I am the right person for it. No pitch, no funnel.
